• 来自网友【Devilbean】的评论 There are a few profound and intriguing ideas in this movie, but they are not well integrated into the film. For example, ‘we’re too bound to time, time is nonlinear’, ‘language changes how you think’, the decision Louise Banks makes even when she sees the future. However, if you don’t present those ideas well, those empty epigrams would leave me the impression that you pretend to be deep. As a linguist, the film doesn’t show how she is deeply connected to or passionate about language. At the beginning, if she tells some fundamental or controversial ideas about language in the lecture would be nice. I subscribe that ‘language changes how you think’, but how is it manifested in this story? It done’t show how she changes and evolves when communicating with aliens day by day. Without this process, it is bizarre to see Amy Adams’s touching performance with tears in eyes. Moreover, it doesn’t show how she studies their language. All of a sudden, there is a mini documentary, spoken by a man (wouldn’t be better with Louise’s voice?)…. And she published a book about this language.… There are too many jumps for me. More interesting things could be shown, more potentials could be revealed.
